Are you fossil curious? Then consider training to become a docent at the Goodsell Ridge Preserve this season. The 480 million year-old Chazy Fossil Reef is abundant with the fossilized remains of tropical marine reefs, and over 80 acres dedicated to their preservation and a National Natural Landmark. Learn about becoming a docent, volunteers who welcome, educate, and mingle with people from around the world visiting the oldest reef in the history of life on Earth on Sunday June 15 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wear comfortable shoes for a tour of the Preserve following a classroom session to learn about the Goodsell Ridge Preserve.
