The resident and non-resident owners, lien holders, and mortgagees of lands in the Town of South Hero, County of Grand Isle, and State of Vermont are hereby notified that the taxes assessed by such Town remain, either in whole or in part, unpaid on the following described lands in such Town, to wit:

Parcel 1
Property commonly known and numbered as 145 South Street, Parcel SS145, and being all and the same lands and premises conveyed to Alden N. Dubuque, Trustee of The Alden N. Dubuque Revocable Living Trust Declaration dated December 10, 2010, by (a) Warranty Deed of Alden N. Dubuque dated December 10, 2010, and recorded in Volume 118 at Page 508 of the Town of South Hero Land Records, and (b) Warranty Deed of Alden N. Dubuque dated December 10, 2010, and recorded in Volume 119 at Page 597 of the Town of South Hero Land Records.

Parcel 2
Property commonly known and numbered as 97 Kibbe Farm Road, Parcel KF097, and being all and the same land and premises conveyed to Thomas C. Hellman and Catherine J. Hellman by Quit Claim Deed of Thomas C. Hellman dated August 4, 2003, and recorded in Volume 89 at Page 260 of the Town of South Hero Land Records.

Parcel 3
Property commonly known and numbered as 11 Sunset View Road, Parcel SV011, and being all and the same land and premises conveyed to Timothy R. Harris by Quit Claim Deed of Georgianna S. Harris dated April 21, 2016, and recorded in Volume 137 at Page 561 of the Town of South Hero Land Records.

Parcel 4
Property commonly known and numbered as 14 Iodine Springs Street, Parcel IS014, and being all and the same lands and premises conveyed to Raymond M. Harris and Georgianna S. Harris by Quit Claim Deed of Robert M. Whitcomb, Jr., dated September 30, 1975, and recorded in Volume 33 at Page 154 of the Town of South Hero Land Records.

Parcel 5
Property commonly known and numbered as 8 Englewood Road, Parcel EW008, and being all and the same land and premises conveyed to Ann P. Gregory, David E. Gregory, and Stephen L. Gregory by Warranty Deed of Ann P. Gregory dated August 27, 1982, and recorded in Volume 40 at Page 378 of the Town of South Hero Land Records.

Reference may be made to said deeds for a more particular description of said lands and premises, as the same appear in the Town Clerk’s Office of the Town of South Hero.

So much of such lands will be sold at public auction at the Town of South Hero municipal offices, 333 US Route 2, South Hero, Vermont 05486, on the 9th day of April, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., as shall be requisite to discharge such taxes with interest, costs, and penalties, unless previously paid.

Child Care Licensing Regulations: Center Based Child Care and Preschool Programs.
Vermont Proposed Rule: 20P002
AGENCY: Agency of Human Services, Department for Children and Families
CONCISE SUMMARY: The proposed rules reduce duplication and adapts the rules for Public School Prekindergarten Programs (PSPP) and/or any Center Based Child Care and Preschool Programs (CBCCPP) located in a public school building. In addition, the department is making necessary changes to the breastfeeding regulations, background clearance regulations, provisional licensure regulations, and updating the name of the Community College of Vermont’s professional development system. As a result of these amendments, the section 1.3 of CBCCPP regulations was amended to align with these changes.

Rule Governing Testing and Remediation of Lead in the Drinking Water of Schools and Child Care Facilities.

CONCISE SUMMARY: The rule includes requirements for taking samples of water used for consumption and food preparation in schools and child care programs. The rule also includes sampling methodology, the frequency and scope of continued sampling, and requirements for implementation of lead mitigation plans.

General Assistance / Emergency Assistance Rules.
Vermont Proposed Rule: 20P004
AGENCY: Agency of Human Services, Department for Children and Families
CONCISE SUMMARY: The General Assistance and Emergency Assistance programs (GA/EA) provide temporary housing to Vermonters experiencing homelessness either through the criteria under the category of catastrophic situations or by meeting the criteria under vulnerable populations. The GA/EA programs provide eligible recipients with motel vouchers when there is no shelter space available. The proposed rule removes all references to temporary housing from the GA/EA rules and temporary housing will no longer be administered by the GA/EA programs. Included in this proposal are technical corrections and deletions of obsolete references such as Town Service Officers.
