The State of Vermont mailed absentee ballots for the Nov. 5 General Election to all qualified registered voters the first week of October. If you have not received an absentee ballot yet and would like to vote, please contact the Town Office. You may vote in person on Nov. 5 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 3541 US Route 2. Because everyone was mailed their ballot, to vote in person you must either: Bring your ballot with you. You will show your ballot to the election official, your name will be checked off the checklist, and you will be directed to vote as normal. Complete an affidavit. You must sign an affidavit of no ballot cast to receive a replacement ballot. Absentee ballots received by 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 4, 2024, will be counted and inspected by the Board of Civil Authority at 12 p.m. and deposited in the tabulator starting at 1 p.m. The process will be livestreamed from the town website, www.northherovt.com, but public are also welcome to watch at 3541 US Route 2.
