​Volunteer Town Health Officer Wanted

Help keep our community safe and healthy! The Town of North Hero is seeking a Volunteer Town Health Officer to serve a three-year term. 
Responsibilities include investigating public health hazards and complaints, taking action to prevent or remove health risks, enforcing state health laws and local regulations,  and working with the Vermont Department of Health for guidance and training.
The ideal candidate is community-minded, detail-oriented, and willing to learn. Training and support provided by the Vermont Department of Health.
