Join the Isle La Motte Community Organization (ILMCO) for the 4th Annual Isle La Motte Music in the Park! This free event will be held on Saturday, July 19 at the Isle la Motte Veterans Rec Park from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with great live music, food and community. IncaHOOTS will be rocking the park from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Bring your dancing shoes and a lawn chair or blanket. There are areas with shade trees to provide respite from the sun. Onsite donations will be accepted by ILMCO for future community activities and events. Meals are available for cash purchase from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Meals include a burger, side salads, bottle of water and dessert. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for 8 years old and under, $35 cap per family. Vegetarian burgers and gluten-free buns will also be available. ILMCO appreciates you buying meals as 100% of meal purchases support ILMCO events and initiatives! General parking is in the Isle La Motte School parking lot across from the Rec Park. Parking is limited, carpooling is highly encouraged. Handicap parking will be available at the Rec Park. Location: 553 School Street.

Join the Isle La Motte Historical Society as they celebrate 100 years of history on Saturday, July 12 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. This special event will take place at the Historical Society campus at the intersection of Main Street and Quarry Road. Enjoy a blacksmith exhibit and demonstration, live music, and a selection of refreshments and small bites. All buildings will be open for visitors to explore. By Beth Meese
The Isle La Motte Annual Town Wide Yard Sale will be held on Saturday, June 28 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sell your treasures and make space for fresh finds! Isle la Motte residents, please text or call Sylvia at 802-309-5500 if you want to host a sale and be on the map. Please leave your name, phone number and address. The deadline to get a spot on the map is Friday, June 24 at noon. On the day of the sale, the sales map and address list will be available at the island entrance, as well as online at the Isle La Motte Community Organization Facebook page. Are you fossil curious? Then consider training to become a docent at the Goodsell Ridge Preserve this season. The 480 million year-old Chazy Fossil Reef is abundant with the fossilized remains of tropical marine reefs, and over 80 acres dedicated to their preservation and a National Natural Landmark. Learn about becoming a docent, volunteers who welcome, educate, and mingle with people from around the world visiting the oldest reef in the history of life on Earth on Sunday June 15 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wear comfortable shoes for a tour of the Preserve following a classroom session to learn about the Goodsell Ridge Preserve.
